Dahoam1516 is organized as a fully self-sustaining and self-funding non-profit school and club. Hosts and teachers are not compensated for their time and there are no employees or beneficiaries.

All training equipment is provided by the teachers or club members at no cost. We maintain no assets or liabilities.

All revenues after expenses are reinvested back into the club, as scholarships for free class admissions for low-income residents or through our community sharing programs and in alignment with our mission and commitment towards community building and knowledge-sharing.

The following should be used when co-branding items that include Dahoam1516 as a part of the branding.

Club Description/Bio:

Dahoam1516 is a member-supported non-profit 501(c)(3) school and social club operating in Alameda, CA.

We offer hands-on, beginner-friendly brewing and cooking classes, social events, and interactive experiences that are accessible to all and generally focus on Bavarian and German traditions. Brand Guidelines:

Club Name

The true and proper name is Dahoam1516 brew • cook • meet

This name is renderer in GermaniaOne font, in mixed case with the D in Dahoam capitalized and this is not generally bolded. Dahoam is in blue (hex#008AFC)

If required, the club also allows for a shortened name: Dahoam1516

This holds the same brand requirements as the true and proper name.

Club Logo

The club supports 4 different logos based on requirements.

The Formal Logo is the base logo on a blue/white rauten circle with a sub-banner (Non-Profit School and Club) in GermaniaOne font below the rauten circle.

The Informal Logo is the base logo on a blue/white rauten circle without the sub-banner.

The Base Logo is the Informal Logo without a blue/white rauten circle. This should be used when using the other two logos (Formal and Informal) will not work due to sizing/readability considerations. This can be used on select document headers.

The Subdued Logo is the Base Logo rendered in black/white only and should only be used for citation purposes (black/white only document, footer, or favicon)
