Dahoam1516 is part of the community. We live and teach in Alameda.

We are your neighbors and your local community brewing and cooking school.

As part of our mission, we partner with local small businesses, community groups, non-profits, and civic organizations that support a strong Alameda and believe that learning and sharing are what makes a community. Through our community sharing programs, we re-invest 80+% of all our activities and revenues back into the community.

Below are our pre-vetted community-sharing program options.

Co-Hosted:
Community Brew Day

Non-Profit & For-Profit Organizations

Location: TBD but co-hosted venue

Participants: Limited by co-hosted space / All 21+

Market Value: $575 (shared donation w/ co-host)

Description:

Great co-branding, co-marketing, and partnering opportunity.

We mutually agree on the space. We provide the equipment, ingredients, knowledge, and samples to co-host the brew day. We are allowed to provide branded/co-branded materials and to promote its mission.

Requirements:

Does not require you be a non-profit, but non-profits get certain options not available to for-profit organizations.
Co-Signed Letter of Intent (NO ABC License/Permit req'd)
Access to a 120-volt electrical outlet
Partnership for advertising, promotion, staffing

Community Donation:
Social Brewing Event

Non-Profits Only

Location: Our Private Brewhouse in Alameda

Participants: 6-8 / All 21+

Market Value: $520 (donation value)

Recommended Minimum Bid/Donation: $75

Description:

Great for a small team or family event. This is a fun, leisurely event.

Enjoy 4 hours in our private brewhouse located in the center of Alameda. You'll pick from one of our curated beer recipes. This is hands-on experience. You will learn the basics of crafting beer and actually make the wort (pre-fermented beer). A few weeks later, you will receive 1 bottle/person of the final beer, since it is your beer.

Proof of Age is required for all participants.

Co-Signed Letter of Intent (ABC License/Permit is not required)
Verification of Awardee from Granter (email works)

Community Donation:
Private Brewhouse Event

Non-Profits Only

Location: Our Private Brewhouse in Alameda

Participants: 8-10 / All 21+

Market Value: $390 (donation value)

Recommended Mininum Bid/Donation: $50

Description:

Great for a small team or family event. This is a fun, leisurely event.

Enjoy 3 hours in our private brewhouse located in the center of Alameda. We agree upon the date. You come and have a relaxed time talking craft beer and sampling some handcrafted beers.

Location: Our Club Kitchen in Alameda

Participants: 8-10 / all ages / kid-friendly

Value of Event: $520 (donation value)

Recommended Minimum Bid/Donation: $75

Description:

Great for a small team or family event. This is a fun, leisurely event.

Enjoy 3 hours in our Learn-In Kitchen located in Alameda. We use a family recipe to create authentic Bavarian Gingerbread Hearts, bake them, and then decorate them.
